(Extra kudos if you ride the bike onto the plane, take off, jump out the plane and take a picture of the bike on the plane while falling)

Any tips on getting the fighter jet? I went and tried to drive into Fort Zancudo only to find they keep the gates closed in Online, cue me getting 4 stars and having a mad chase, I managing to evade them by sneaking under a bridge but didn't even get a glimpse of the jet.

Steal the fast helicopter, land it next to plane, get in plane. Alternatively, use one of the bits of landscape around Fort Zacundo to jump your car over the outer perimeter fence and into the 'security ditch' between the outer and inner perimeter fences. The guards can't shoot you in there and you can drive around the edge of the base without being killed, then make a break for it.

I went yesterday in the end, it was cold and wet :/

Can someone please get this tag? Every time I get near it they kill me, and I suck at flying so there's no guarantee that I'll even get it to a spot where I can grab my bmx.

If I could fly a bmx to the location, suppose I could do that.
No way I'm going to cycle there, it'll take about half hour to get there from my house.

One way round that is to take the bmx out of your garage, then ditch it and use a stolen car as your vehicle. Once you get to the location you use the "Request personal vehicle" option in the interaction menu and your mechanic will deliver the bmx to you.

Note: I cycle everywhere for the tags, I haven't tested this.

Got in, got away, blew it up trying to land.

Everytime I've gone to get it since that I have been blown up by a tank whilst either pulling up to the jet or getting in.

According to some videos I've watched parachuting onto the plane might be an effective way of getting it.

I've stolen the jet about ten times since I did this tag!

Pull up next to it in a helicopter (doesn't actually have to be the fast one).

Get out, quickly. Run over to plane, quickly. Get in plane. Take off, quickly.

You then have to avoid the heat seeking missiles (keep low, wiggle about) but it's totally doable. I'm not even that good at computer games!

Go for a plane that's out in the open, but that should be obvious given you're landing a helicopter next to it.

Stealing the fighter jet is a piece of piss. jump the fence either by the main gate, or the north side of the base to the right of the tunnel underneath it. There's usually two by the runway and one in the hanger. you can get a lot of air on the jump by the tunnel. It gets harder to steal them with successive attempts in the same lobby, much like when you do loads of hold ups you get a higher wanted level each time.
