Just saw LowPug comment 'Crackyon' and I LOL'd.
I don't understand why you still ride it. You know it will fail again as the design hasn't evolved.
'Ride this one carefully as it hasn't been designed to be ridden outside a velodrome' - what a pile of sh*t. I would love to see a pro putting max wattage on it and do one epic skid, I bet it will crack straight away.
You are like their R&D official tester by now. You should try to crack it ASAP then ask for a new frame and your money back for the next one ;-)

Friend of mine, he rode track on his Canyon only.
He got the exact same crack on the seat tube as hoke.
It wouldn't have matter if you only use it on the track as it turn out, you'll get a crack either way.

So as a few you guys know this has happened again (this time I've only ridden it probably a handful due to my roadie commitments) and to be frank I'm sick and tired of this BS.
So solution is simple get a new bike, and need ideas for a replacement. So give me you best shot!

Yeah with Dammit!
Get something made out of columbus megatube or some other stupidly stiff steel that can be drawn out all aero.

Looking at the price range above, we are heading into custom Steve Goff, Columbus Max/Reynolds 853 mix tube territory.

Why go Steve Goff when you can go Rych/Lowski?

Hoy Firenzuola.

T1 = £1k for an alu frameset >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Those BMC's are a ripoff too.
You're sort of limited for choice if you don't want a DF4 and can't afford £8k for a Look :)
-
• #474
Weren't they about £600 somewhere?
-
• #475
Yeah no one obviously bought the 2k BMC complete so framesets are going on their own for a reasonable price now.
Only reason Goff came to mind was because I've seen their tube mix work IRL, so I know they don't have a problem granting that request, plus the fillet brazing was brilliant.
I'm sure Orlo/Rych would come up with something amazing to.
