  • Ho I have a full crabon fork doing nothing at the mo. I even have a basic tektro caliper kicking around. It's not the prettiest fork ever (its a deda blakc blade iirc ) but I wouldn't want much dorrah, let me know if you want to do business. /spam

  • In fact it would look awful on the canyon now I think about it.

  • Ditch road bike, get Inflite AL, problem solved.

    It even come with mudguard.

I was thinking exactly the same one, (plus v-drome and slx,) then I had to really tell myself do I really need 3 bikes and where would I put them all, but also do how much time am I really going to use all three of them? hence why I'm at this point.

  • N+1, it's only logical.

3 bikes is the minimum you should own.

  • Ed dunno if your the angel or devil at times...

  • 3 bikes or GTFO.

  • 3 isn't enough. 6 is a better number.

  • It almost simply sounds like you should get a practical commuter rather then cracking another 'winter bike' cannon?

  • Maybe you need a grippier rear tyre for wet conditions. Are you using the Maxxis? I've never had a problem with them in the wet, much better than Gatorskins for those conditions.

  • Don't listen to them, get disk brake wound ups. Commute the way God intended.

    9?

I think 'If' I crack it again I'll just go for different frameset or just give up riding fixed

Yeah I've tried them, used them for my rear tyres and keeping 4000s for the front, though surprisingly I've got a lot of very deep cuts through the tyres which i'm not too pleased about, (maybe it just a bad batch), thinking trying durano plus next.

  • Damn you...

Plus they've risen up their price from £35 to £40 now! the cheek of them!!!!

  • I think you'll like duranos and you know where to find them :)

  • Indra.com?

  • Winter officially ends in 34 days anyway

  • Trying these new bad boys for this month, (yes I know they weight a ton) but rode them today on the wards ride with the forum and although they are quite bumpy to ride, but they do make some pretty epic noise when skidding! =)

  • Why not the durano plus?

  • Got these on the cheap! £10 for the pair! =) though the front doesn't fit so just going to ruin these over the next few months and actually don't mind doing some mega wip skidzzz!!!!

  • Though I probably should have got durano, as these are f-ing ugly!

  • Always next time!

  • You would have been proud of the mega skidz on the ride today, sounded like your Brooklyn!
