  • Nice colour frame.

  • i got offered this a while back, an Titanio Oval Master

not sure if the vendor still has it, (is my size) , if i were to get it, i think i'd be really tempted to lose the black decor, and strip it to a brushed ti type finish, forks would poss get changed for carbon force with 1'' steerer tube

  • That look lovely and understated, decal made it look a little fake.

Wonder if he can sell to me instead? might be touch small if it's a 52cm.

  • I think it's a 56/58 Edward, a friend in Amsterdam sent me the images in November, so I'm not sure if the vendor he knows still has it,as far as I know it has not as yet been listed on any on line auction site, I originally thought it had be resprayed,
here's an example that was listed in this parish,

and decal/font size appears similar, so black decor may be original, campagnolo record and proton wheels
I sold my friend my Master MTB (made me a reaaaaally good offer), and this "Titanio is pretty much a "mates rates" price
I should (Jah willing) pick up the circa 77 model tomorrow, delivered for a pint of beer!

this was on the bay a while back, black decor but not sure if decal font the same

  • i got offered this a while back, an Titanio Oval Master

First thing i'd do with that is replace the stem. that type have been known to fail where the thick stem bit is tigged to the thin quil shaft.

  • agreed, it's not pleasant too look at either, if i was fortunate enough to get it, i'd go for a ti grammo

  • This is mine, a mega rapid. Pretty iffy name but columbus genius tubing and rides like a dream. Bought off the forum with a triple groupset, but pretty much every part changed.

  • that's a nice looking frame, pics from any other angles?

  • nice steed!

  • Just was offered this, I'm having my doubts as to authenticity, but want to know what you guys think.

  • Thanks for the heads up Saarf.

  • no worries!

  • this just got delivered

just slightly pitted forks, and surface rust around ds stay/bb join

  • quait naice, 70's?

  • My Master Krono. First I got the front wheel, then the back one, and about a year later te frameset. Now I have to repaint it since the red isn't original. I was thinking of this scheme:

Does anyone have the color codes for the white (pearl white I assume?), red and green. Or are they supposed to be the same as on the discs?

  • Fiouwww, that's gonna be a +500 euro colourscheme, I think... (official Colnago-sprayer that was about to respray mine asked 300 euro for the PR99 scheme and that's just plain white). But it will be nice, that's for sure.

  • Ouch... I was going to ask Orlowski or Rychtarski to do the job, but I'm still hesitating. Their price is 150 euro + I have to buy the decals.

  • yes mate, circa 76-77

  • i got a quote of 500 to re do a rabobank decor of people who spray for rabobank and codagex, paint dropped off in a number of places

  • Very nice indeed saarf. What have you got planned for it?

  • thanks, i would just like to re do the decor, then build up and ride
