Are you in London? Welcome to the club!
And I hope you'll have more luck on finding Flash forks (if you build it with a modernish groupset) with that much steerer left! Can't wait to see what are your plans on this!

what gives with the condiments and cheese grater btw?
a) I'm a shit photographer
b) I like to grate carbon flakes over my pie'n'mash
I'm guessing it's a generation '1.5' as top tube and down tube formed in 'gilco crimp' style, but no B stay. I've got a steel precisa fork in near enough colours for it, but that look hsc fork is the nuts so I'm going to keep that on!

Yours is the pinnacle breso, very beautiful
Dunno about build yet, mrs RG says with 20+ bikes/part bikes in barn that I have to (sob) let some go (sob)
But either modern gs and wheels or 8/9 speed
gotta buy her a new motor and replace some patio doors before crimble so no action until 2015, hey ho!

Following on from my last question a couple of months back I am finally getting close to my Colnago builds.
I have a Coppi which is going to give its groupset to my blue C94 with its original steel forks - which will be an upgrad in both looks and erformance.
My red C96 is getting a 10 speed Ultegra groupset. I just need to decide between two sets of forks.
Should I use these, currently on the Colnago, and can anyone tell me more about them (age, model, quality). Time, 600g approx.
Or should I use these, currently on the Coppi, and can anyone tell me more? Profile, 500g approx, SC, is that the model name?

Thanks all... nice to have one's initial opinion backed-up. I would love to know what model / age those forks are. They were listed as Time but I have no evidence of anything.

i think the Time Colnago branded forks first appeared with the mono titan model, so circa mid to late 90's,and the forks and crowns were usually black, so the ones above could have be stripped

Thanks Saarf but I bought the frame without matching forks, and these forks are an entirely separate purchase.

Here is what I always believed to be a 85 Nuovo Mexico. It has crimped tubes, chromed lugs and a Columbus SLX frame sticker. Bought it in France in 2012 from an elderly retired bike shop owner who used to race it for his shop. It came with Shimano 105 kit which he'd upgraded over the years so I decided to get it back to what I understood from him to be the original spec.
It has pretty standard SR parts inc a panto'd chainring which I found in a car boot sale plus a Campagnolo 7-speed ergal alloy freewheel which has to stay on these wheels as I lack the removal tool.
Anyway, it gets ridden, it's a great bike and I'd love to know more about the mix of clues as to it's identity.
What's the difference between the Dream Pista and the Reflex Pista?
