Love it. I inherited the granny cog at the back on mine, but its proved quite handy with the mental hills around here while I build my fitness up. Points awarded for tubs! : ) That stem's just wild.

Cheers, it's quite clever the silver COLNAGO's have a little flash of green sprayed in so it goes all op-art when you look at them against the purple "they pop" The main paint is actually two purples, one slightly towards red and a much purer one. They had some fun with the Tecnos.

Hi guys,
I wanted to ask if anyone of you could help me out. The seller described this frame as a size 54, yet by the look of it it’s a “Freuler” frame. As far as I know “freuler” frames started with anything above size 60. Could it be that it is really is a size 54 or is the seller simply mistaken?
Thanks a lot

Looks proportionally like a 54-56. It's not 60+

Yeah, it is really a pretty strange but awesome paint job. Wasn't so sure about it a first, but now it just makes me happy. Here is mine which I picked up for cheap in a somewhat ratty condition (especially the chrome on the forks have see better days). Building up as summer ride to have when I visit my mom's house.

Mine's been in the wars a bit, God knows what the prior owner did, but had to colour a fair bit of the front end of the top tube with metallic markers! Looks okay though...

I'd say he's mistaken mate.

Think so as well.
I’ve tried to research further and there is no way that they made a “freuler” in size 54. It wouldn’t make any sense.
Thanks for the reply nonetheless

Lovely that just had another look. When I get fitter I'll lose he granny cog on mine that it came with, as I miss a small close ratio cog.

Here's my latest purchase....
To say I love it is an understatement and I've always wanted a colnago.... I was looking a c60 but then I decided my canyon would be just as good if not better for the type of riding I do.
So in my head I justified that this was the essence of what a colnago is, as far as I can tell it's a super/Mexico the difference eludes me, but from about 1978/9.
It's a bit unusual in some senses.... has three top tube mounts and an SP (27.0mm) diameter seat tube. I'm also a bit confused as to it's exact age as it's lugs look to be 78 ish but the rear brake bridge and under bottom bracket cable routing make it more early 80's.
I know it's not eroica ready but I get all the advantages of a retro look but a new gruppo, it's also had a repaint but it's been superbly done.... anyway...I'm over the moon to be in the colnago club!
