May I ask what stem that is on the Master Olympic? Cinelli Oyster? It looks a) hot; b) a bit like something from Aliens...
-
• #2031
Could be a 3TTT 2002
-
• #2032
Indeed it could, that's another fine extra-terrestrial-looking stem! Thanks. (I've also seen/like the 3TTT status, which is somewhat similar to both but with a different cover on the bolt.)

Saved this lady from the scrapyard today.
Nothing special except from the NR front derailleur, SR shifters, NR seatpost, SR non fluted crankset, NR pedals and these little things:
Think they're made by Modolo

I was after one too for my '86 Master (the one I finished this weekend) but gave up as sellers asked more than what I paid for the 8 kilo of old iron I bought this morning. ;-)

No, that's not a bike any more.

One can only live in hope.

Would be a shame to let such a find go to waste. Do you have a spare unbuilt frame lying round to build up? Something makes me think you probably have ;-)
-
• #2041
All that time and trouble spend no doubt polishing the jewellery pre photo yet no inclination to put some air in the tubs.
-
• #2043
That is indeed a quandary. Modolo panto or non panto SR. Hell you just need to build up another frame as well to have both!
-
• #2044
I will put the Modolo and NR parts on the Super "Saronni" and find myself a decent Nuovo Mexico "Saronni" to put SR on. ;-)

• #2045
I think tubes are original so degraded and no longer air tight, vendor trying to punt as og condition

• #2046
the stem again

Like the Master Olympic, one of my favourites.

superbe pro is very smooth, integrated shifters knocked the bollocks out of suntour though sadly
