And now a question. What carbon forks with a 1" steerer did Colnago produce?

Paging Saarf…
Colnago made the Star forks for a while, and now they still (I think… they might have ceased production now but they're still available) make the Street fork with a 1" steerer. Which is what I have on my Dream B-stay (though originally it would have come with the
StarForce forks - I actually think these look better):Full Shimano 6600 SL, RS80 C24 wheels. Now has a white Romin, and an inline WR Compositi seatpost. And road pedals.

The Street fork rides ok? Not flexy, too stiff?

It's the best riding and best handling bike I've ever ridden, by some distance (though I haven't ridden really high-end contemporary carbon - but it's better than the Focus Cayo I had). Neither flexy or harsh.

I have just picked up a C40 which I will be building up in the next week.
Can't wait to get it built and out for a ride, bought it off my Dad's neighbor I have been lusting after it for a few years, I always pop round for a chat when I am over at my folks, he has owned it from new.
He won the over 75's category in a national TT earlier this year and decided to treat himself to a new frame, came round and asked my Dad if I would be interested in the C40, it is now in my possession.
Building it up with Silver Chorus 10 Speed and Black Shamals just waiting on two bits in the post to get cracking with it.

So the Colnago carbon forks with a 1" steerer are:
Star - monocoque all carbon
Force - bonded all carbon
Flash - steel or aluminium steerer (a bit heavy, but strong)
Street - aluminium steererAny opinions on the Flash? Any others that I'm missing?

I think the hierarchy is Star > Force > Flash, but I don't know how the Street compares with those. The fork blades on the Street are deeper than the others, more modern-looking.
Also, I thought the Force were monocoque, but I might be wrong.

what leads you to suggest that, h b?
There are threads for Gios, Roberts, Langsters, Steamrollers and numerous others, but nothing for Ernesto's classy, quality, creations. Until now. So let's see what ya got.
Here's mine:
A C94-97, difficult to tell which. I'd say C96. Columbus Thron tubing, rides great, 9.6kg as pictured. Paint is dire though, and falls off if you look at it.
Superissimo Decor. Columbus Brain tubing. Basically it's the Super when they stopped making the Super.
