  • want!
    (only on pre-order I think)

  • What about the Chapeau casual range....

I have no experience of it but it looks decent.

  • Is this Edinburgh Woollen Mill with a cycling range? Does their stripy skinsuit button up at the front? And will they actually be making a CE approved bowler helmet?

I'll stop taking the piss now.

  • I like the general concept of the warsaw kit. But the overall effect is a bit drinks-with-umbrellas, cane furniture, an album called 'Polynesian Moods' on the stereogram, etc

  • just received my Warsaw jersey - the guys doing it are friends of mine
if anyone fancies some feedback re-sizing or else

    mmm sounds nice.
(it isn't pre-order, just my size was out of stock. more in end of the month. )

    so @dea10sign your feedback is..?

  • Fair enough, but it looks better to my eyes then other casual/performance wear. Go Endura if you prefer.

  • I don't. I'd go for Rapha for wool.

  • Fair dingum. But I understood the original request for a more modestly priced casual/performance jersey.

Rapha almost always comes up trumps but trump prices too.

P.s. no personal jibe intended, my typing ^^sounds a bit edgy, soz.

  • This looks almost right, good suggestion, but I don't like the bowler hat or the white cuffs and collar stripe thing. I guess the problem with casual looking stuff is that when it looks like ordinary clothing, it has to look properly good (although of course this is subjective), because you don't have the excuse that it's cycling clothing. This is the problem I find with most of the SPD casual shoes - they're casual enough to look non-cycling, but not to look non-dorky. I guess I'll save up for the Giro one and keep an eye out for new products in the meantime.

  • This one is ok too, but argh that bowler hat is so offputting.

  • I say the fit is very good, i wear S with every brand and it is a race cut.
All in all, in terms of the cut, feel and quality of the materials ( as far as i have worn it : once ) comparable to a tokyo fixed ( GSG), with different details like the sleeves which are basically a big band. for 70 euros, a slightly better deal imo. let's wait and see what they come up with later.
Oh and my girlfriend got a M woman jersey, similar dimensions to my S, but obviously a bit shorter and larger at the hips, tighter at the waist.

  • Digging some of the Le Coq Sportif stuff.

  • I like it too, but I preferred the colour schemes they had last season - I posted them on the 3rd page of this thread. However, when I saw them in the shop, i was disappointed with how they looked close up, quality didn't look great either.

If you like that top, they have it on a ridiculous sale on wiggle at the moment. I'm tempted again myself, but think i'd be disappointed - the other reviews here aren't great either. You could always send it back though..

  • Has anyone got the 8bar kit as featured way back on page 1?

    http://8bar-bikes.com/product-tag/8bar-jersey/

Was wondering what the quality is like? Getting bored of rapha.

  • They lost me at "my legs are my gears". WTF is wrong with people?

  • Must admit, that is a bit shit. Like the rest though.
May need to borrow the Team Sky black out formula off someone.

Edit: looks like that text is high up on the rear and covered by the jersey.

  • Cheers @greeno, it doesn't look anywhere near as nice in the wiggle pic but could be good for a punt at that price. In other kit related news, LMNH appear to have a new Jersey out next week according to their instagram and I really like it.

  • Oooooooh same will buy

  • I'm looking for a top/jersey that looks really casual but has proper
sized pockets on the back. So far I've found a Giro New Road jersey
    http://www.alwaysriding.co.uk/giro-new-rĀoad-ride-crew-pockets-2338.html

That Giro thingie looks like a great idea for the colder evenings ahead. A base layer providing the storage space so that you can throw just about any jacket on top.
If you buy it please report back on fit and how well it transports sweat. Also, it looks like it might sag quite a bit if you keep anything heavy in the pockets?

  • I know this was a while ago, but how are their socks? Love the look of them but would probably have to get quite a lot like you to justify $20 shipping. Jerseys look great too.
