Like the old style Belgian winter cap?

If anyone is interested...I put the item of choice in the Walz Cap basket and dithered..I got close to buying it by registering on their site but I dithered...they sent me an email...saying I have an item in my basket...but I dithered a bit more...then I got a future email, offering me free postage to the UK...I stopped dithering and bought the cap.

Yes. But less polyester.
Combined with a woolen buff its very functional.

Bit late sorry, but I went with the 42-44 large size and I'm 44. They fit perfectly even after being washed a few times

Team La Passione seem to be having a bit of a mare following a glut of orders (in response to a discounting during a sale period). Have taken my order and money, but no goods or communication 10 days later - emails to the generic "support" line just echoing in the black hole. Finally got a response on facebook after posting on all their social media channels, but looking at the feeds I don't think I'm the only one left scratching my head. Website still referencing dispatch times at 2-3 days.
Shame, so can only hope the gear is A+ to make up for it

Scroll through this thread for a few examples of their shitty after-sales service. No $ from me now.

Any recommendations for relatively simple jerseys (black) with longer short sleeves that don't cost the Earth around? Chapeau maybe?
Also, I've read similar experiences on other websites about La Passione's after sale service. Will give them a swerve.

Anyone recommend a pair of ‘baggies’ that are waterproof, but also not just an over short? Something you can wear all day that are comfy and not all plasticy?
Thanks!

Apologies, ‘stylish baggies’. By baggies I mean nice cut shorts that aren’t Lycra. Not for MTB.

Actually waterproof, or just quick-drying?
-
• #4741
Ideally actually waterproof, or at least a good level of water resistance.

Hello sweaty balls

I'm not aware of an actually waterproof fabric that isn't plastic.
I guess other than ventile. Get some custom ventile shorts like a total lunatic.
https://www.weatherwisewear.co.uk/product-page/vatersay-shortsReckon these guys would make you a pair without pockets if you asked nicely.

Nikwax some lightweight shorts?

Yeah they haven't covered themselves in glory. That said, the kit that arrived is actually really nice, well fitted and good value (at sales prices)

New attaquer forum shorts...

Chrome shorts, always wanted a pair but never splurged, worth it?
Or buy another pair of Swrve transverse in a different colour, have lived in them all summer. -

Flannel shirt dudes ( @TvH + @platypus ?), what materials are your flannel shirts made out of? They all seem to be made of cotton which (everyone knows) is the worst. Wool? Fleece? Something else?
Just want to buy a bunch of shirts for commuting/touring/etc. so I can pass myself off as a normal person when I'm not on a bike. Also because I want to buy a bunch of them, cheap is better, although if possible would like to avoid sweatshops/bad-for-the-environment stuff/animal abuse/etc.
Patagonia I suppose?
waits for this to be reposted in some sort of "Shit Radavist wankers say" thread

Morvelo do a riding shirt, but like you say its a bit Radavist wanky
that being said I like Morvelo shorts
Have one of the Walz woolen caps with earflaps, and it's most excellent.
