Well nifty! Did they remark on the sizing at all? Their size guide suggests I'm a S which is a bit of a shock...

We stuck with the size guide but also borrowed some kit off them for trying (they're happy to lend out with a deposit), most people got it right but not all - the pro stuff is proper snug - see the lfgss thread for all the people that went too small!

I've gone and chanced the Small... according to their chart the waist and leg length is on the money so I'm just hoping my gut doesn't cause trouble.

I have some Rohan that are good, ok for biking or walking, snug fit and a bit of DWR treatment or similar. There’s a shop in that arcade off st Anne’s square

I find their "club" small does fit pretty massive

We’ve done a custom kit order with Milltag and I’ve done various jerseys now with them. Very happy. Their top end pro jersey is very very nice.

Saw void bib shorts at lunch for the first time in person.
The pad seems very good. Also seems smoother surfaced but in a good way.
Anyone got any experience of them?

Sportful norain bib shorts and leg warmers any good?

Yeah, I like them. The bibs are long (at least mine are, dunno if they change over seasons). I’m six foot and fairly normally proportioned, and the medium bibs are just an inch off my knees, so you may want to check sizing.

The leg warmers aren’t as warm as full roubaix or merino though. I’d say stick with knee warmers because if it’s cold enough for full leg warmers then you probably want a warmer material.

What’s the consensus on merino on/off the bike clothing ? Would need close but not racy fit, short and long sleeves variants, quarter zip, and ideally some pocket(s) at the back.

Not thermal as such, but thicker and more wind resistant than summer bibs. With some good leg warmers i find them good down to 4-5 degrees say.

Really only need thick roubaix style bibs when it’s close to freezing
