So nice, if you are gonna start selling would certainley be interested in a gilet
-
• #428
I'm interested.

I'd be all over that if it's not Fiasco Ciclismo price.
At this stage they'll be ~$120AUD which is pretty much cost for me.
They're exactly same as these ones, but a different design (they were made at the same time).
Also, the Fiasco Ciclismo logo was supposed to be all white, not black and white. This will be changed if I do the proper run.

Saw the SAS stuff in Kinoko today. It's proper. If you're minted as $=£.

This Brandt Sorenson stuff is nice
Prepare to remortgage your house though.
-
• #432
I like the DHB blok range
-
• #433
That Brandt Sorenson stuff must be some kind of joke right? $400 for a pair of bibs with no apparantly remarkable features and no reviews available regarding quality (did they join the stylish kit bandwagon yesterday?). Makes Rapha look like value garms.

Probably joined the stylish cycling bandwagen after he was caught doping (as an amateur).
Probably has large legal bills to pay!
Still really like the kit though.http://velonews.competitor.com/2011/10/news/another-u-s-masters-rider-pinned-for-doping_195784

Just like Hincapie innit?
-
• #436
Can anyone recommend where I can get some simple kit like this, minus the 'radavist' branding and the extortionate price tag..?

What are the good merino/sportswool jersey options?
Rapha is £ and torm seems like better priced rapha, is torm solid quality?
Something in the middle? Just simple but good merino so doesn't smell super quick.

I have both. The TORM is great value for money but just lacks the amazing finish that Rapha impart on their garms. that said, I commuted for all of last year in the same TORM jersey and it still looks as new.

Vulpine sale?
-
• #440
100% merino are vulpine.
Would 'sportswool' be better or worse for the job? For day in day out riding. Stuffing stuff in pockets etc./ignorant.
-
• #441
Merino tends to stretch pretty badly which is one of the appeals of sportswool.
Tbh, just get Torm, there isn't anything wrong with them at all, just not as fancy as Rapha etc
-
• #442
Yes just saw that
Storage notes: The merino that we use is so very plush and naturally elastic that this is not a jersey you can load up with all kinds of everything. The pockets are stretchier than an ordinary synthetic jersey, so an average capacity would be roughly two energy bars, a banana, tube and phone.

The capacity increases exponentially as they sag down to the backs of your knees, making you look like an wild west hillbilly in wooly underwear that has had a potty accident.
Vulpine. Am disapoint.
Fine foe commuter wear though.

If you mean simple as somethingmorethanjustblack, I quite like ORNOT. Not that pricey, simplistic with a little colour and probably quality stuff.
If I wasn't sorted kit-wise I'd probably go for it.If you just want black, every other jersey maker does it and you can pair with dhb aeron pro bibs which I find great.

Got these sample gilets made up through the guy that does Fiasco Ciclismo. I may do a proper run soon.
Is it orange or is the flash making them look brighter?
If orange I'll get one as soon they are made! -

That is nice, a brighter version of islington.cc's club colours (or theirs is a duller version of Brandt Sorenson's!)

A 21st century looking club. Jesus. What is the world coming too.
Chapeau.

Also. I ordered the Ham cycles team cap.
Was kinda tempted by the summer jersey, and bibs. But couldnt quite get over the wearing someones elses kit feeling.
Considering I train rugby in lions kit. I'm not sure why cycling is so anal about these things. But meh. The Norwegian TdF coverage had EBH, and this annoying beardy guy doing a light hearted peice on 'the rules'. He was such a cretin it made want to wait outside his house wearing full SKY kit, sipping a cup of tea, and wearing my sunglasses inside my helmets straps. Then as soon as he appeared on his bike, I'd grind the hipster feck into the ground.
Using sunblock sticks on holiday to preserve your bibshort tan lines?
Really?
Get a fecking life.
I'd be all over that if it's not Fiasco Ciclismo price.
