I just bought some of the Shutt VR club bibs in their BOGOF sale. Seem like good shorts for what I paid, not sure whether they merit the £60 price tag. Also very short in the body; I'm 6' with 32" inside leg and the large were really really too small. Much shorter in the body than the PX 365 medium bibs I recently bought.

Old Assos stuff off eBay is the best:
- Lots of bright, colourful classic designs and team kit
- Excellent fit, which is similar to their new stuff
- Top quality construction and technical fabrics which will perform and not fall apart
- Decent prices. Have seen them go for anything from £5 up. Most are about £20-30
- Easy to import from European or US sellers
Would not go for most of the stuff suggested in this thread so far.

That Milltag jersey reminds me of a Victorian swimsuit.

My thoughts exactly.
I kill cycling gear. Most of it's fit for wiping chains only after a couple of years.

The stuff I use everyday commuting wouldn't even make it that long.

Used jerseys are fine (I don't think the stained/fucked/smelly stuff gets ebayed, just binned) but anything with a chamois* can >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
*unpadded stuff is less likely to have seen direct testicular contact or so I tell myself everytime I wear my keirin pyjamas

Don't wash it and you can sell it back to Japan apparently.
