Didn't you get your free POC silk scarf upon joining?
Only reason I opened an account was to get one of these...

You might want to try Champion Systems UK for small minimum order jobs like this. Their stuff is ok too.
Cheers for the suggestion! I did look at them, along with BioRacer, though I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the samples either of them sent. Champ Sys' caps, for example, were absolutely awful. Ended up getting our caps from Walz in the US!
Castelli also turned out to be more affordable than I thought, despite being head and shoulders above them in terms of quality. Though admittedly there were a few lost-in-translation type moments that made me wish I'd used a UK supplier, especially as they caused a bit of a delay. I'm hoping it'll be worth the hassle in the end though!

Haha oops. I'll remove my foot from my mouth! How have they lasted? Perhaps it was just their samples, but the one they sent me felt really flimsy!
Admittedly, one of my favourite caps is a microtex/coolmax kinda thing so I'm not a die-hard cotton fan, though Walz do offer a couple of sizes which helps when your pepper is as big as mine.

They are sort of flimsy. Although it's a big club there weren't more than maybe 50 people who ever wore the caps. To bump up those numbers I wanted to address what put a lot of people off. Cool, cheap, durable, machine washable and easy to scrunch into a packed jersey pocket were all on the brief. And we sold 100 of those Champ Sys caps at a tenner (a tiny margin).
There are a glut of kit producers now but caps are more tricky. I didn't fancy import tax from outside the eu and most european suppliers responded with "hats? like in old times cycling?" and similar when asked if they could make caps. I think most of northern italy's cap production ends up in London! on this forum probably.

Sounds like the ChampSys ones are spot on for a club of your size!
Almost every supplier I found had massive quantities that I didn't fancy taking a risk on with less than 20 of us in our "club".
Castelli needed 150 units, I think Apis (who I think make the Prendas retro team caps) wanted 300!? Mental. Hopefully I won't get stung on the import duty, though I don't really mind so long as I can avoid losing money.
I wanted to do socks too, but it's the same problem. 150+ pairs is a hell of a lot of socks to shift when you're not really a "brand" or whatever...

That mirrors my experience exactly.
The cotton Rapha caps (the ltd edition versions) are really lovely. I think they are Apis but they're not their normal output.
I'd like to get Buff type neck-gaitors made. I would like them very thin/light (and you would think cheap) but I've not found a supplier who can produce them for under a £10 – which really what they should retail for really.

The POC kit was made of very interesting fabrics and beautifully constructed. Lots of hi viz features yet not garish. In the flesh it is really elegant and simple, I can see how it might appear boring but it just had a very clean balanced aesthetic.
And there is a silk scarf.

Right on. Now we just need one of Claire's vest from Code Veronica:
Someone should use Verge to put a stylish design to a Carrera speed suit. Basically a short sleeved jersey, Complete With Pockets, sewed to the lower half of some some bib shorts. Moar Comfort, moar Aeros, and no flappy flappy when you open the zip With the Pockets loaded.
It would be ace.
Plus I want one, and cant justify buying 3
