Thanks, I'm just waiting to hear if a friend wants a headset cover while I'm ordering, I'll hopefully message you over the weekend.

I would also like one (blank version 2), as I now have a bike with a normal 1 1/8 fork, to go with the Canyon over-sized one from 2 years ago :)

Hey tester I'm switching to a carbon steerer fork. Lots of different expander bungs to choose from, any in particular to go for? Some look like they can't be used with the top cap I got from you. Sorry if it's been covered already.

If in doubt, go with the fork manufacturer's recommendation. All my carbon steerers have glued-in custom bungs, but I'm tarty like that. If I wanted something reusable, I'd probably try a Hope Head Doctor.

I tried a Hope Head Doctor. It wouldn't fit, as it's designed for ali steerers and the ID on the carbon steerer on my Ritchey Pro forks was too thick. I too am a fan of bonded custom bungs - in fact, I'm about to make another one for @Cycliste's new Cannondale, but it does require access to a lathe. On those occasions when I have used expander bungs, I've always got on rather well with the Deda double-clamp one. The Ritchey ones, on the other hand, are crap as the thread is too coarse.

I'm not sure they have one. Although they do encourage customers to "Please keep in touch smooth" in the ebay ad so no harm in asking I suppose. Smoothly.

Is it possible to get one cap in 1 1/4 size?

Is it possible to get one cap in 1 1/4 size?
Yes. Plain or fancy? I have exactly one 1.25" cap in plain black anodised which you can have posted tomorrow for £20, or I can do any style or colour anodised/laser etched/engraved in about a month for the usual one-off minimum charge of £100

Hey @mdcc_tester I mashed my bolt trying to take it off my old frame, can I get another from you?
-
• #736
can I get another from you?
If you have an early model with the aluminium screw and you want a direct replacement, you'll need to go to ProBolt
If you have a late-model cap, this is the screw, it also works in earlier caps but only sits properly flush in later ones. I have spares of these, £2.50 including p&p

• #737
Do you have any caps in stock? Or, if not, will there be another run at some point?
-
• #738
I have plain black and plain silver in stock
-
• #739
Can I have a plain black one please?
-
• #740
Same. And a spacer pack too please if you have them as well
-
• #741
Is there likely to be another run of these anytime soon?
-
• #742
Would be in the market for a few more myself...
-
• #743
I'd probably take a couple, actually.
-
• #744
Somebody start a list, I have exactly 6 blanks available, which can go to the anodiser/engraver (or engraver/anodiser for Type 2) once at least 4 of them are ordered.

Which type?

- Sparky - "SPARKY" - type 3
- richardaldred - "MY POWER MY PLEASURE MY PAIN" - type 2
Can you confirm that will fit? Ideally, I'd like it to wrap fully, with the same space between PAIN and the beginning MY as between the other words.
