... when your steerer pokes out of the top of your stem, as it should in all cases but most especially with carbon steerers.

the stem clamps much better to it.
more stiff.
more strong.
less risk of crushing steerer.

I am off on leave from Thursday 19th December and I would love to have them ready before them so Christmas isn't ruined.

They are at the anodisers, will be in my hands on Thursday so should be posted Friday morning. I haven't checked them all rigorously, but they seemed OK with one minor exception which I'll contact the victim about.

Are there any blank anodised spares?

Yes, or at least there should be as long as the anodiser hasn't melted them :-) £10 including UK post to sts@grafixbyjorj.net will get you one. Not sure if there are enough bolts for all of them, so first some first served if I run out. There are also some raw silver ones and a couple of spare LFGSS ones in black, same price.

Just got into work and found my stem caps here. They're excellent - thanks very much tester. Top work.

All posted orders were sent out this morning between 10:04 and 10:37, thus forming a nice long queue at my local post office where only one counter was open :-)
