  • It doesn't, it's the correct size, just the saddle need to be set back to the correct distance from the bottom bracket to distributed the weight properly.

    Small frame traditionally have steeper seat tube to shorten the top tube (falsely) which is why a bigger setback is required.

  • I suspect a barrage of PM's heading Wharrys' way.
    nah man #brakearedeath

    the tourer is a lots more nimble than a track bike.
    epic troll

  • You be surprised, track bike aren't design to handle faster.

  • Awesome bike that; so tiny! Makes me want to build my girlfriend a nice bike haha.

    What's the correct distance?

  • Depend on the person, she need around 30-40mm from the saddle nose to the BB (using a specific saddle, some are longer/shorter than others).

    Currently it's 20mm and the weight of your body is noticeable on your wrist and arm, setting it a little further back allow a lots less body weight on the handlebar.

    With TT and the like, setting saddle forward is generally the optimised position for power, but you'll lose comfort, which is why the design of the TT handlebar help reduced the extra body weight being distributed on your arm/hand.

  • One more photo I promise, a proper side shot of the Libertas;
