If your frame is "getting started sometime this month" this means you'll have around 6 months or so to deliberate paint.... i speak from experience.
Time works differently in Skelmersdale.
Top builder though :)Johnnettles said this in early January, I collected the frame yesterday so his guess wasn't far off. First impressions, as you would, expect are very good. Unfortunately the frame and I are separated from all the other parts till at least late Sunday.

annoyingly struggling to find any time to build this as I've started a new job. I threw some components on it the other day and it remains in this sorry fashion. Poor phone pics don't really do the paint justice either. Maybe having a rubbish picture of it on the internet will encourage me to get it looking proper.

Stuck some wheels, made some progress.
I'm not convinced I've run the rear brake cable in the the best way, so i might have a go of routing it the other side of the headtube. Hopefully I'll get this finished off on Saturday so I can do a shake down run and then have big rideout on Sunday.
Those are 25c tyres on there a the minute and I have bags of room. I'm thinking some Gilles Berthounds may look good on this.

Looking nice mate. I think some chunkier tyres would look great.

Thanks again for sorting the decals. One day i might take a photo where you can see them.

Ha! I can see them. They look fine, I'm sure in the right light they are more visible, but the subtleness works with the build.
sweet - looking forward to seeing this.
Goff gets his paint done at C and G finishes in Liverpool. They've been around since the year dot so will do a great job on the frame.
What colour have you gone for in the end?
cheers
