Stolen - bianchi via nirone 7 2012 road bike 55cm campagnolo xenon £100 reward

was selling my bianchi to a guy who gave me his wallet and phone as an insurance. Low and behold the wallet had a load of pointless cards in it and the phone it turned out was a pay as you go samsung. He never came back. Can't believe I fell for something this simple. If anyone spots this online or in the street, I will give a £200 reward if this leads to me getting it back. It is a 2012 in unused condition, this is what makes it easy to spot, it's a year old but unused. I don't care about the money so much as the principal, and I want to trace this guy, so even if it is someone who he sold it to it could be possible to trace back. There A website that shows all the bikes being sold on gumtree / ebay other classifieds. Keep a eye on that for your bike. Im always driving around london if i see him i @@@ @@@ @@@@. did you have the serial number for the bike?

Yeah, if it comes up on gumtree or ebay i will arrange for a friend to view it and then turn up with several other friends when the deal is going down and give the man a good seeing to! Not to mention taking my bike back!

Would help to add the location, time, description of the miscreant, as his M.O. would suggest this is not a 'one-off' theft.

It's got the white writing instead of the black.Just uploaded a pic of what it should look like. Although I requested the frame number from that guy on ebay as I wouldn't put it past someone touching up the decals in black so it doesn't appear to be the same bike. Thanks for the input, if anyone finds anything that leads me getting the bike back or discovering the guy, I will give a £200 reward as I'm currently £700 out of pocket! This happened in herne hill at around 5.30 on Thurday afternoon, he cycled off towards the city centre. Around 6 foot tall, North African/ Morrocan looking, light skin, black beanie smart outfit and shoes. Pretended he was just coming from his graduate job at the bank. I've reported it to the police but I'm pretty sure I've got a better chance of finding it than they do.

Please get a friend to take it for a test ride, and get it back that way before letting the police at him. I'd be happy to covertly film the prick's reaction.

Might be worth making him an offer to buy it now,just in case someone else does so and the listing vanishes.If that happens it may prove hard/time consuming to get ebay to release his details on the basis that untl you've seen it there is no hard proof (as far as their concerned) that it's your bike.
