Well, Morzine's jolly pleasant today, and the Swiss border is only just over that mountain (waves hand in direction of Avoriaz).

I saw big Jezza Clarkson in Avoriaz once.

Was a bit strange because for him being such a gangly tool his daughter is well fit.

Big finish in Tour de Suisse coming up.

Tinkoff riders seem to be hitting form at the right time. Nico Roche won a stage at Route du Sud, now leading GC, and Rogers was second ahead of Valverde.

Good work from Rui Costa, I didn't realise he could climb like that. I do feel for the panzerwagon though, I kinda felt he was doomed when I saw the stage profile

Have to say I'm a little surprised, Bouhanni looked very good at the Giro, but then cav suffered in the Tour after riding the Giro. Demare really good enough to keep him out?

Nope not as a pure sprinter but Demare a bit better at getting over the hills probably plus a pretty strong showing on the cobbles. Bouhani would only contest the true sprint stages where he hasn't got a chance against Cavendish, Greipel and Kittel.

Bouhanni isn't that bad at getting over lumps either though, and he looks a notch above where he was last season IMO. Ah well, another decent French rider out after Giant-Shimano omits Bourgueil.
