What channel is the Tour de Suisse on?
-
• #2853
Sounds like more brilliant man-management from Sky, told he wasn't going to ride the TdF so he has been putting laps around the Manchester velodrome apparently, rather than training on the road.

• #2854
Ah, It's on Eurosport! The power of Google
-
• #2855
Damn those twisty roads!
-
• #2856
Who knew Henau could sprint? I thought it was Swift!
-
• #2857
just in: Belkin out as main pro team sponsor... :-(
-
• #2858
Enjoyed seeing Nino Schurter in the break yesterday. How much road racing is he doing?
-
• #2859
Not a lot, he's been guesting with Orica Greenedge at both the Tour of Romandie and the Tour of Switzerland, as they ride Scott bikes (and Scott are, I believe, Swiss).

• #2860
and wiggins is downnnnn
-
• #2861
... and now back up and pedalling loose as a goose.
-
• #2862
Cav showing good form, pulling away from the rest of the bunch like it was easy
-
• #2863
He made that look very easy, didn't he? Great tv coverage too, with the overhead shot instead of the normal head on camera.
-
• #2864
Wiggo 12 mins down, non starter for tomorrow?
-
• #2865
He's got the air of a man that's been told he's not going to the tour and is determined to see out the rest of his days at Sky in relative ignominy as a final 'fuckyouverymuch'
I'd be surprised to see him in win anything or even try to compete between the Commonwealth Games and the Worlds tbh.
-
• #2866
And we all love him for just that professional attitude :-/
-
• #2867
I feel like if that were true it wouldn't really be the best method of ensuring you end up on a good team post-sky.
-
• #2868
He was already down, for what reason we don't know and he crashed. Let's all just just call the local glue factory and have him put out of his misery yeah?
And all you same fuckers fawn over Merckx... he's even fatter than I am.

who says he's going anywhere post Sky?
He is minted now, and probably can't be arsed being an ex-tour winning domestique for some arsey fucker again.
I reckon he's planning on bombing round the tark for the rest of his career, then crowning that achievement by joining lfgss and winning all the alleycats.
You could say downing tools now is unprofessional but wasn't even considered to defend his tour title, gets a regular Counding on twitter and in Froome's new book since he's eaten a lot of humble pie to try and get back into the tour team, and there's not much other motivation coming from a Sky team that's essentially passed him over as soon as he accomplished their stated 'British tour winner' goal for them.
I mean, if he was Hippy he'd be doing lines of ching off of midgets and shovelling scotch eggs in his maw over lukewarm pints of XXXX by now.

Cav just crashed in the Tour of Switzerland, almost in sight of the finish line. Looked nasty but he limped across the line.
-
• #2871
Crazy finish. Why organisers put a bend like that in with 300 metres to go is beyond me, especially with a downhill approach to it.
-
• #2872
Cav's post-crash Twitter Selfie is quality though
-
• #2873
-
• #2874
Apparently he'd eased up to avoid crashing
-
• #2875
Looks fresh for someone who just rode a long way then attacked straight down.
but still.
at 10k from the finish he was still in the bunch, at the back but to lose over 2 minutes...
