BMX - Ladies sessions & General Chat

Anyone coming to the beginners session at Peckham BMX tomorrow night? Last weeks session was great.

Just spent a sunny afternoon down Peckham track :) Was lucky enough to have a day off work and went to 'rock up and ride' session, so just hire a bike and helmet and do your own thing. We had the whole track to ourselves, was so much fun! The guys running the track are very welcoming/helpful. I think one of them is on here, so hello waves

After going to a couple of novice sessions on Thursday nights realised they're not for me. They were very welcoming but the sessions are run for little people and so they should be. They're doing a fantastic job, I'm just way way too old.

It'd be great to have a regular novice session for adults on a week night. Can we make this happen, would anyone else be interested?

I'm going to one of the ladies sessions on Sunday but if that goes well, I'd be looking for more, so yeah, in principle!

Last Sunday of the month... so this Sunday. Need to book using the council booking number (will post later) by Friday 5pm as they don't operate eves. and weekends.

Couldn't find any info about the Novice session. Just had this reply from Southwark, here are the details:

"We are hosting an adult BMX novice session this Sunday 26th Jan 9.30am to 1pm, cost will be at £12 per person including bike and helmet hire.

Once you passed the test at the end of the novice session, you will be able to go on any of the rock up and ride session with no booking and cost, just simply turn up and ride & enjoy! :)

If you are interested to book in for this Sunday, please kindly provide us with the rider’s full name/age/gender (age and gender just for our coach’ info so they know who are they expecting) and we payment by Friday 4pm over the phone via credit or debit card.
