Most important part of the league.

After extensive consultation with the LPC, the new additions to the format have been modified as follows.

1) All team members must regularly play in London. The league committee (Matt and Max) will make the final decision on eligibility. Players who do not live in London but wish to sub in the league must contact a committee member to determine their eligibility.

2) Each team must consist of 2/3 players who live in Greater London (the City + the 32 boroughs).

3) All subs must regularly play in London or have played regularly in London for a significant period of time. Subs must be at a roughly equivalent level to the person they are subbing for. Subs must be verified by the league committee before playing.

Defcom 69 (Chan, Fin, Trigger) has not been confirmed for eligibility. As far as Max and I know, Fin lives in Birmingham and Trigger lives in Brighton. Which means this team does not qualify under the 2/3 rule (assuming Chan is moving to LDN like within the next two weeks).

Also, none of the non-London based players contacted the management committee to confirm eligibility. Which is taking the piss -- especially doing it within two hours of the deadline, which is fucking with our tight schedule.

This team is currently ineligible. It has until 5pm today to confirm it's eligibility with Max and me, or it will be ruled ineligible.

**Vote for rankings -- Attention all league players -- Deadline Friday 1 Nov midnight

1. Registered league members rank the teams in order from best (=1) to least good (=14). The rankings will be summed to produce the seeding -- the team with the lowest number is first, etc.

2. Players do not rank their own teams. There are 15 teams, so each player ranks the other 14 teams from first to last.

   1. Individual player's rankings will be counted only if s/he ranks all 14 teams.

   2. The league managers reserve the right to disqualify a player's rankings from consideration if they deem that the player has submitted a ranking that appears to be gaming -- e.g. has sabotaged a team or artificially inflated a team.

   3. The league managers intend to have the entire seeding determined by popular opinion but reserve the right to the the final decision on the seeding and the final split between league divisions (e.g. 8 and 8 versus 9 and 7).

I have set up a question on Survey Monkey, which is ready to go, except for we have to wait to deal with Defcon's eligibility.

There will be a prize for the person whose ranking for seeding is the closest prediction to the final standings for the top 8 teams.

Subs are available to both divisions right?
