Exciting. And I'm not even allowed to talk here.
Well done all the people who've made this happen. London deserves a velodrome that represents riding of all kinds.

I've just realised that the reason why we are gonna be lucky to play at herne hill this sunday is because this has been cancelled:
Knog Muddy Hell 2012 - YouTube
Honestly, this is way more fun that a sunday morning polo.
Shame it has been cancelled...

There's still sat training going on according to this?:

• #121
I noticed that when I checked the calendar this afternoon... Will check with Iain in the morning...
-
• #122
any word Joe ? Christine got an email to say she could collect her pedals and saddle tomorrow that she left on a season hire bike, after the training session
-
• #123
I've emailed Iain and heard nothing... I'll send him a text...
There shouldn't be any training anyway, if Muddy Hell were still happening there'd be loads of activity getting the cross course ready... Also odd that they've decided to schedule normal sessions on a clean-up day...

I don't know anything about it, she just said to me she wanted to go there tomorrow, I thought she meant for the polo court opening... which was a bit odd, then she explained to me she was collecting her stuff

In for polo from whenever, are we still starting at 10?
B, can we try and sell some of the t-shirts we have as yours is only round the corner? (I could come by and fill my bag in the morning?)
possibly - depending on the chainline we could either use the derailleurs as tensioners or get some of these:
All within budget. I've used a number of tensioners on ss MTB's and ^ is the only reliable one. Because the roller is wide and it isn't sprung, you have no chainline issues.
Also, I suggested taking all the unused bits such as shifters and derailleurs and sticking them on eBay as a job lot to help with the budget... but either way, It will be nearly impossible* to go over budget (£40 per bike for the conversion)
*again, I've only seen 1 of 10
