  • Yeah. I've done couple of years of their Full Volume, then moved down to the Mid Volume and last year was mostly Mid Volume, obviously with other rides outside. I actually emailed them this morning to see if I could pause it. I haven't used it for 2 months and don't plan on doing much for the foreseeable.

I've just entered @skinny El Piri event but presume I will have some other rides in my legs already by then so I'm not bothered about formal training.

  • I've kept the subscription going, because of their legacy pricing and because I think it is pretty good for just doing intervals instead of gamified shite. But I have hardly used it for ages.

I don't touch the turbo in the summer but I quite like having a programme set up for the winter - so thanks for prompting me to set it up for this winter! I only ever do a couple of the workouts per week, then other rides. I normally just do the mid-vol nowadays - as midweek turbo sessions are a pain to fit in if they go much beyond an hour - and top up with other rides.

I'm thinking of doing some indoor racing instead of the odd workout as the Westerley guys are big into that. It's basically intervals. It is potentially a bit more fun but not ideal as the intervals, and the session durations, are a bit too short / high intensity.

  • I think I opted to pay more but stuck with monthly, with the idea that I'd turn it off when during and after big rides. It didn't quite happen so I've just spunked £40 for nothing, hence the email.

I got into the habit during Covid. I was already working from home but that just solidified me not going outside, so I was doing lots of volume indoors. Now I'm going for tiles at lunch time I'm less interested in adding turbo volume. Perhaps if I had a race planned I'd probably try out a Masters plan (I tended to add/remove workouts a lot myself anyway) and keep tile bagging for the easier days.
