Herne Hill is operational again. Thanks Charlie, Tim, Ed, and Jimmy.

If anyone is playing on it this weekend, you might want to check over it before you begin. We were tired and finishing up, and didn't clean it of puncture-giving old screws, bits of drill bits, etc at the end of the evening.

There's a broom next to the court, if anyone feels like doing their bit and having a bit of fun: Ask one of the coaches for the jetwash and get up the spilt sandbag debris, esp. The bits harbouring mould growth.

Thanks again to Kev, Ed, Charlie and Tim for being absolute stars... If you play at Herne Hill you owe them a beer!

As if it's any surprise, the winds last night and continuing now have damaged the court again.

This of course will impact the kids sessions again. I've asked Celeste for pictures so we know what we're dealing with.

I'd suggest waiting until the winds have died down. Also I think this evening people are trying out the new KingsX court.

There are spare boards (the new black ones) under tarp on the NW corner. I'd suggested rebuilding that corner at the last repair session but there simply wasn't enough daylight or hands.

Could anyone transport the eight 2 metre sections of 2x4 I have in my house? These would be very useful as to make new uprights.

Can anyone else confirm for definite about tonight? So far it's only me and Miles, with Jimmy as a flaky maybe. We really need four definites for lifting and hanging.
