Unscrew the front clamp screw, put a two pence coin in the gap, then screw back in onto the 2p. The screw will push on the coin and open the clamp good. Watch your leverage

28.6-34.9 swaged 853, AKA Colorado Concept Tubing. These are seat tubes, happened upon a box of 5 NOS ones, which given that they are NLA I purchased.
Might do a (very!) limited number of frames with them, and probably keep at least two for repairing CSi's, Atlanta's etc.

Yeah, it's tight.
I took the stem bolt out, put a 1 pence in the gap, then wound the bolt back in against the coin, if that makes sense, which forced the clamp open very slightly?
I then used black touch up paint on the bars, as they got scratched no matter how careful I was.
