I have no problems with scooters for adults, but it would be nice if there were less of them in skate parks.

I keep watching it and thinking
"yeah that would be kinda cool if they weren't holding on to it; Oh wait no thats skateboarding" -

There are a few tricks that wouldn't look better on skateboards... They would look better on bmx's.

Just been to Austria, full of middle aged clowns on these things. But strangely none of the swarms of scooter kids like you get over here.
All the skateboarders seem to be sensible young adults, using them to cruise around on. often BF/GF couples.
And there are no BMX's or 26" trick bikes anywhere on the streets.
Lastly, all the fixeh's have two brakes.

Yeah I seen one of these suits riding on a scooter last week when I was on Early's. I got to say I was a bit jealous. He looked cool and all these well dressed female lady's was checking him out.
As I sat at the lights in my van I couldn't help but think "I wish I had a good job in the city and I could be rich enough to live close by so I could ride like that"
Then the lights changed and I snapped back to reality.OK I'll just go back to my cave now...

The same for skateboards. Look at those fucking Justin Beiber like cunts born in the noughties thrashing those decks around the car parks. It was acceptable in the 70s. Now it's just shit.

Yes, I imagine there are many people without functioning legs who look at it and think "just a couple of tweaks, and I'm sold"

First in 2000? Pffft! Anyone remember the short-lived late 80s craze of scoot-tech? skoot-teck? skoot-tek?

Mine was Scootex, cross between scooter and BMX apparently.
Scooters for adults are big in W8.
Lots of tourist pensioners and American looking women (expensive sportswear and hairdos).
