Whilst riding the 'London Sightseer' audax around the area yesterday, a cyclist was warning us about the road closures because of this accident. He didn't witness the actual incident, but arrived a few minutes after the incident - but he did say she was in pretty bad shape.

I ran past this just before 1200 yesterday - area all cordoned off, forensics on scene. Bike was still under the tipper truck. Really hope it's not bad news.

reckon it is worth naming the company employing the HGV (as it provides a disincentive to be involved in fatalities) and asking about the purpose of the HGV's journey, its safety features, driver hours worked per week;

Howradmichello, I don't disagree with what you're saying but this thread is for expressing messages of condolences. Please take discussions of cycle campaigning to another thread.
The only references I have found are two tweets from @citypolice yesterday:
https://twitter.com/CityPolice/status/379267714277466112
"Woman cyclist suffers serious head injuries after a collision with a tipper truck in the City this morning. (1/2)"
and
https://twitter.com/CityPolice/status/379268996048388096
"If you witnessed the incident at 7.55am at St Botolph Street - Houndsditch junction please call 101 & ask for City of London Police. (2/2)"
Access to Leadenhall Street from Gracechurch Street was still closed around noon yesterday.
Best wishes to the rider.
