This is going to be nice, really good looking frames from pelizzoli.
It would be nice to see the logos removed from the wheels though, I don't think they will do the frame much justice as they are. -

Yup that's on the plans for sure.. try to keep it simple on this one
-
• #5
nice, how much does Pelizzoli custom build set you back?
-
• #6
normally the basic frame is 1000Euros but they will do modifications within reason for that price.
The custom paint is another 60 Euros in total

Real men ride gold (or was it pink?) bikes, but it is what the Italians tastefully call Champagne colour ;)

ok last update from Pelizzoli, as the frame is all done and on its way over to Shanghai now.
So now just time to dismantle my other one and post the frame over to France (to the new buyer), then finally i can get started to building it up.
Still thinking about whether to change the bars though.

Record cranks hmm..nice
but...
For the initial build i will be using all the parts off of my old bike but no doubt i will be changing things as i go along.
Well i bit the bullet and after thinking for a long time decided on the Pelizzoli frame. Went for this mostly for the custom fit and the finish on the frames i have seen up to now is amazing.
Going for 56cm Pursuit Geometry, with extra tight clearances, English BB and integrated headset with the carbon fork. (seems more unusual in specs from most of the others i have seen around.
What else am i getting different? Well going for revised seat stays (having them welded lower than the top tube) and settled on a pretty unique paint job which i threw together. (more of that to come)
So far the whole experience has been smooth and seamless and communication with Alessandro has been great. They have been more than accommodating to my requests and changes and constant emails :)
As for parts? Well mostly they will be sourced from my current Lo-Pro frame (but may well change some parts along the way)
So current setup is as follows.
3t Carbon Stem and bars
Omnium Crank with Zen ring paired with Shimano SPD`s
Sram front wheel with Ellipse Rear
Fizik Carbon Post with Antares seat
