Last week I built a new rat
I started with a frame from ebay

and added the wheels from my duratec

The frame's a really nice one with beautifully feathered lugs and a nice fork crown.

Frame number is 9231 which is a 1977 build from the Amsterdam workshop. Here's the original logbook entry.

I think I need a more negative stem - this projects the bars way up - proper mamil geometry with brake lever hoods almost at the same level as the saddle.
The shame of it!!

Frame is nervex 7005, fork is ambrosio carbon, wheels are Bontrager select and it's a parts bin mix of 105 & ultegra

Hutchinson atom pro 23mm tyres, look Delta a3.1 pedals standard gearing... I'm really showing my age here...

I think the -17deg, 130mm stem sets it of quite nicely and continues the old school theme - as does the lairy bike ribbon
