The frame's a really nice one with beautifully feathered lugs and a nice fork crown.

Frame number is 9231 which is a 1977 build from the Amsterdam workshop. Here's the original logbook entry.

I think I need a more negative stem - this projects the bars way up - proper mamil geometry with brake lever hoods almost at the same level as the saddle.
The shame of it!!

I think the -17deg, 130mm stem sets it of quite nicely and continues the old school theme - as does the lairy bike ribbon
