A few changes including a longer stem and some lizard skins tape will follow...

  • Nevermind

  • Glad to see you found something nice to replace the Bridgestone, it looks good.

  • very nice.
    whered you find this beaut

  • nice.

Have you had that sprayed yourself? If so what RAL code is it?

  • very nice.

Was offered to me by kash (c4shr) after I posted a wanted ad, was suprised to find something so quickly

  • nice.

I didn't spray it myself and I'm not exactly sure of the finish. I think it is raw just polished with linseed oil because in the rain the 'paint' started to change colour to a weird sort of grey/blue. If anybody has any ideas on what the finish is then please enlighten me!

  • how long is the current stem?

  • how long is the current stem?

    90mm, bit short for you?

  • I roll a super steep 70 mm stem. Love it.

Latest iteration, changes include saddle and front wheel as this is becoming my daily bike with the completion of the kagero

  • I think this is going to end up looking better* with all silver parts. What is the rim on a back and what's going on the front?

    *Classier

  • Rim on the back is mavic Cxp30 (laced to a low flange dura ace). Front wheel will be a Charge one that looks relatively similar, until I can find a matching front rim.

  • That frame is lush, I'd have the Kagero as the runabout and this as the nice bike...

  • I know, I had this dilemma when I decided to buy the kagero. Decided to make that my nice bike for the time being as, IMO, the archetypes and Omniums suit it better. Ideally in the long term I will be able to find a matching front wheel for this and I will have two nice bikes!

  • With black 75s would be mega.

  • Looking goood, loving that zeus fork!
For me personally its all about all black or all shiny silver parts.
I only say that coz Im not that 'rad' and have a thing for colour co-ordination ;-)

  • Thanks, the fork is super tight in terms of clearance, only just fitting 23 mm tyres. Hopefully will have a silver front wheel soon to complete the all silver look.
    for now here's a few pics of its latest guise;

  • Nice. your forks are with the zuess 2000 fork crown are pretty similar to mine: http://www.lfgss.com/thread100375.html

  • really nice frame! love those seatclusters..

what are them bars fmro the firs tbuild? not spottahs right?!

  • Old setup - I miss this.

They are deda piegas in a 26.0 clamp, comfortable and cheaper than soma hwy

  • ahhhh.. i figured as much. but its a right bitch to get your hands on some compact ones nowadays, theyre now updated to an anatomic form which sucks balls.. do a google, youll see..
i actually have a pair of them i bought on here, but theyre 36cm c-c instead of the stated 40 c-c which renders them useless to me. and in the meantime im taking little steps into 31.8mm land. will need to use quill adapters though.

  • I found them in the kinoko sale for £17, apparently on some websites the picture is of an anatomical drop when they are in fact compact drop like these

  • yeah im not local so couldnt have. tried that trick before with an ebaylisting; ended up having to send them back.. why arent you running them anymore?
