that is not true. It doesnt say enve on it

Get a Talbot steel fork. You can have TWO metal badges then!
-
• #604
Talbot steel forks, custom rack, hoops paint job and hydro discs.
Too awesome not to!!!'
-
• #605
Other option is a go ahead and still get the mini v mounts and disc mounts and then switch to discs with the fork a while down the road..
upsides of this: i'd get mudguard mounts, and more clearance.. and discs down the road. Although seems a fair bit of cash to drop for those reasons. FUCK i do not know.

I don't think it's worth it unless you're jumping to hydro. So maybe get the frame done now with both options, maybe "hidden" canto mounts a la mash work, then save up the pennies for proper disc brakes, disc fork and new wheels over time?

Or credit card with 2-3 years interest free on purchases and HAVE IT ALL NOW
-
• #609
oh good lord
-
• #610
just run discs on the rear until you can afford the new fork.
also, just saying but...the kinesis forks have mudguard mounts and you could probably recoup most of the outlay for them by selling the enves
-
• #611
Then sell the Enve.
-
• #612
I dont imagine enve is that easy to sell with such little stearer to be honest?
-
• #613
If you're struggling, just build it up again and ride it till you can.
-
• #614
- Sell the enve forks
- Buy Kinesis forks
- ?????
- profit
- Sell the enve forks
-
• #615
Kinesis fork are 10mm longer than Enve (unless theyve changed this for 2016).
-
• #616
Kinesis CC Disc is 405mm indeed, but the Tripster Disc (comes with guard mounts) and the CX Disc are both 395 mm like the Enve

Has this been dissolved yet?
-
• #620
No
-
• #621
Need to get a better - non-lock picture but yeah I settled on keeping frame as is and going 46x11-36
The steel forks and pizza rack are going on ASAP as well as a return to bigger tyres (if anyone has any 35c road tyres, black, not too pricey recommendations..)

Kojak
and REMOVE that lock from your pricey shifter!!
-
• #623
+1 for Kojak.
-
• #624
Kojak are pricey in 700 x 35 (£35 wiggle, seems to be only place with them)
Kinesis forks are much cheaper and look just as good
