This may be a stupid question, but do NJS frames like this normally go for this price?
-
• #28
No.
-
• #29
Perhaps not on here.... But they can

• #30
After seeing what people have got in the way of NJS for <£300 this year...
-
• #31
you show me something sold for less than 300 that was as mint as this: http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh241/onteingu/540600_10151518108285151_1374907259_n.jpg

do I see wrapped top tube? and this is to protect it from the bull bars? or something else ...
-
• #35
TT protector, to protect it from the stem.

There are bargains to be had no doubt, but normally for 300quid ur getting dings, dents, chips or rust. (Normally, not always). Yeah it is expensive and I'll punt on it not selling here for that money, but to say frames like this sparkly mint 3rensho cant be found elsewhere in the same price bracket is horseshit. Saying that..... It's too rich for me!

That's retail prices
or quite a lot more actually if it was bought from track supermarket/Gira Gira for $1990

dont forget import duties ...
all in all it would make it bit pricey....
I love it and I think its a really stunning / wonderful frame but £3000 is bit much (price + delivery + taxes) -

No.
yes.
there are frames and frames, which I am sure you will discover in couple of years.
Deadstock restored 3rensho is worth big money, as you can see it sold from tracksupermarket which is a proof in itself.onteingu, beautiful frame, but people on here are not used to this kind of prices which is fair enough. ebay would be my bet, or searching around HK:)

Whats the price new in a custom size?
-
• #43
what new?
-
• #44
it's pretty hard to get a new frame from a builder that stopped making frames 15 years ago
but a lot of (most?) njs builders are more than this anywaynvm dollar/pound confusion most not significantly less and e.g. nagasawa -

Indra, Yoshi Konno was paralyzed in a car accident.

^I think the later ones with head lug cutouts are all Makino anyway?

And died.

|^^ I dont even know tbh. didnt follow
-
• #49
I don't think the frame's new - it's been resprayed with NOS decals. You could get this by buying any undented sanrensho and then spending £500 (not more surely) on a paint job. Definitely would see some change from c. £2k

And died.
well yeah, there's also that.
That's too much money...
This 3rensho TT is nice
