Got to ride Liam's bike today. Break it Pay for it wasn't in the deal...
He will be going head to head with Olympic champ Maris Strombergs on March 2nd in Manchester. Not a bad lineup for a winter regional.

i am taking cisco to the winter series, amazing to know the champs will be there

yeah should be inspiring stuff for the young ones. I'll be helping with looking after the novice riders as it's a bigger event than usual novice club race so please cheer them on just as loud as the champs!

SX World Cup on 18th & 19th at the indoor. Missing all the international practice sessions as not in until 17th, Nz & Aus there last few days apparently. None of them sessioned Platt this eve, was hoping to show off my "not quite a manual" to the worlds best...

first BMX track race of the year for me tomorrow at Royston, I've not rode for a month due to surgery and will probably vomit. And I'll be on a 4X bike but the competition is less stiff in that class (I'll still come last)

Hope it goes well. I won a moto in April! Next up in a couple of weeks.
Have swapped from Alu to Steel, as posted in the little bikes thread:
Swapped my race frame from Avent TR7 (alu) to Standard 125r (steel)
Looking forward to riding it later in week

Well, that was nice. I think I won on a technicality. Mainly because I was the only person to race all of the motos in my cat (MTB), so that made it fairly easy. Had a very hairy moment when I lost the rear end in the bottom of a berm, culminating in a 4' long drift as evidenced by a cracking and kinda weirdly italic skidmark (no brakes involved). I'll be back for another blast in a fortnight.
I also rode a 24" race bike, holy crap, no wonder I can never finish first (cruisers and MTB race together but in diff cats) that thing was a demon.

A win is a win, nice.
Worth giving 24 or 20 another bash for sure, loads of fun.

Juan Ka is on his way to Berlin on Sunday, to take part in next weeks Supercross.
He is really proud as he has been selected as part of Elite mens squad at 17 years old.
Wish him luck and shout out for him if you can. -

Fitted new s&m race bars and rode on Friday, loving this setup. Hoping to get hold of a DXR lever soon too.

Cheers JK is there as well.

Cool, actual results from qualifying are proving hard to find, BC report says Tre got through... how did JK do?
-
• #48
Scratch that, found them:
If JK is #215 he did ok?
No Shanaze, Abi, or Charlotte in the Women's event, looks to be between Buchanan & Pajon tomorrow.
