• And none of you would have to read & reread the word, "Betwixt".

  • I thought his post was better before he corrected 24 to 14. If I had a 24 year old daughter I wouldn't want her reading 50 shades of grey either. Why not Justine or something instead. Come on, now.

    Teen mag or Sadean tome?

  • Teen mag or Sadean tome?

I'd argue that either would be an improvement.

  • That sadomasochist was a smooth operator.

  • I asked a publisher about the teen/youth magazine market once, but they said I wouldn’t get a Look-in.

  • I was in the car with my nieces, when they were about 12 and 14, that came on the radio and they were singing along to it. I tried to take the opportunity to talk to them about our Lord the Jesus but it fell on deaf ears.

  • "Betwixt".
    "Twither"

You were doomed to fail as it says, ‘let’s talk about sex baby’. Jesus wasn’t a sex baby, he was a virgitudinal mutationism.

  • Pub quiz nerd point - many people think 'immaculate conception' refers to the virgin birth, but it does not. And that's the kind of information that risks being lost if we carry on down this censorship route.

  • What is Cameron going to do to stop filth like 50 Shades of Grey making its way into the home. Although I have not read it (and one would hope that no one calling for censorship has looked at or has any idea about the subject matter of their ranting) I understand that the depiction of a man's attitude to sex and to his sexual partner is nothing short of mysoginistic and not the type of attitude that we want to see our youth believing to be correct or normal.

Despite this, it appears that this filth can sit on book shelves or under beds without password protection and with no filters. How can Cameron allow this to happen?

    We must protect our children.

Couched in Clive's shit comedic efforts there is a point

Such a valid point, last year more than a few people in my year (mostly girls) read that and it's just fucked up, can't believe that parents would actually let their 14 year daughter read things like that.

Next they may move on to marquis de sade books, many of which can be downloaded for free without age restriction straight to your book reader app. Literature, no matter how well written can be just as damaging as graphic imagery that sets false expectations about the size of your average man or the enthusiasm of your average woman.

Filter the world, I want to get off. But not in that way, I mean't it as a parody of the West End musical not in any sexual way. Although perhaps not a good example given the string of extra marrital relationships portrayed in the show as Damo strives for a better life than the one he has. Actually on reflection it was probably the wrong thing to say so lets just forget about it and move on shall we.

    The opposite Will.
That's the only type of information that'll be left when the filters go on.the Bible porn will be all there is.

  • I received a response from my MP (Heidi Alexander) yesterday, in the form of a "written" actual letter.

It spent two pages describing why porn should be blocked but didn't address a single point in my original mail.

I will respond over the weekend.

  • hmm wonder if the US could do this. I some how don't think so due to freedom of speech etc... would probably open the US gov to insane lawsuits.

  • It's really upsetting to discover that our MP's are in fact not there to serve us but instead concerned with serving their own needs for power and career progression by aligning themselves and their views with the sitting PM.

It's really knocked me for six.

Paedophiles are everywhere, we all agree that paedophiles should be locked up. And surely we agree that is so important that it really doesn't matter if innocent people are accidentally locked up too... so long as the paedophiles are locked up.

That's the essence of this argument re-phrased... they just don't carry about any collateral damage incurred on anything that isn't porn.

And that's before they even acknowledge that porn is actually legal content anyway.

  • Sounds like "jail all the dissidents" >>>> Soviet Russia

  • Still haven't received a response from Andrew Rosindell. I think he's too busy kissing his fucking dog

  • Andrew Rosindell on commuting from Romford after he was discovered to be a prolific abuser of MP expenses during that scandal.

It may be 17 miles as the crow flies, but from door to door by car - and I always drive - it can actually take an hour and a half.

Try public transport you ugly cunt.

  • Takes me less time riding a bike.

  • LOL JK I always drive too, let's carpool, Andrew.

  • Nothing from Ealing. They're too busy trying to keep the breeders happy.

  • Nothing from Chukka Umunna neither.

I've never had a response from him over anything, ever, and I've contacted him a few times. I went to google to enquire of it, "does Chukka Umunna respond to constituents?" and got as far as "does Chukka Umunna" before google auto-completed it as "have a girlfriend?" which says it all about the priorities of that posturing bag of hot air in a shiny suit.
