Pozzovivvo, who was 5th overall this morning, is in the second group. Maybe he can put his head down and time trial across the gap.
-
• #253
But it looks like he'll get back anyway.

Shambles of a finish

I think it's quite common that in a reduced group like that, after any sprinters' teams have worked hard to keep it together, that a move in the final kilometre can be successful, as there's no lead out men left to chase and no-one wants to start their sprint too early.
Smart move by Mollema.

Wow, a Dutchy winning a stage in a grand Tour, that's been a while. Nice one Bauke.

Little Chris Horner
Sat in the corner,
Eating his EPO pie;
He plunged with his thumb,
And never looked glum,
And said 'What a good boy am I! -

Horner is gonna win this. Wonder what odds you would have got on him at the start of the Vuelta?
-
• #266
What can you say, clearly Horner just wants it more, and apparently is willing to step over his own mum to get it. I so want to believe that he's clean, pushing one for the oldies and all, but I can't, I just can't.

Most Bookies didn't even quote him, but about 100/1 with those that did. Some lucky sod did get matched @ 220/1 on the exchanges though..
The really stupid prices are reserved for the sprinters. Yes, people really do bet on Cav to win the TdF!

Are Astana going to have to pick up Horners 2014 contract in order to secure this Vuelta?
-
• #270
Horner's gonna romp this, looking very comfortable. Warren Barguil's wins have been my highlight.

Come on Tim Cobo!
Three big groups, but it looks like most of the favourites are in the front group.
