Yes, I offloaded my MX leader as well.

I felt that my Leader seemed bigger than normal frames. If/when I get another one i'll go for a size smaller than usual, because although technically it was my regular frame size it just felt very large.

hey Wim! haha im looking for a 54 one, so even harder to come by i suppose :) which size are you? i know one for sale in brussels, but its a later model in yellow, 20th anniversary 56 cm i think, but to my taste is the less desirable one (it goes for sale for 800 e i believe). Anyways lets see, im sure one day ill come by one ;) chees man!

I'm looking for a 56 or 57. At this moment I first have to get rid of some of my other bikes because the house is getting a bit full of bikes...

54 is less common, that's true, but surely not impossible to find. Fact is: the MX Leader was an expensive frame back then so less sold (and now harder to find). The market is full of cheaper models but the high end frames are hard to find.

I hope this counts...an Eddy "Balk" Merckx from 1995. Columbus Cromor tubing. Used to be owned by cycling club "De volharding" and judging by the good state only used on track. The owner got a Giant from a sponsorship so no more use for this. Met the people in the shop, nice folk.

Replaced (but kept) the Miche cranks/seatpost and stem/saddle, the wheels are original. (Ambrosio Profile on Miche, tied and soldered spokes)
Balk always seems to kit their bikes with Miche.

A lovely ride, despite the stiff wheels and frame it's still very comfortable on crappy roads. Nice lugs, nice V-finishing on the chrome, and a pretty bright paintjob.

I think so, theyre hard to find, but looking at the thread from the beggining seems like some guys just happen to find some easily! haha anyways, just so i know and dont mis my chance once one pops up, how much is the average price of one? (or if you dont mind telling me how much you sold yours one for) btw which part of Belgium are you from? im in Brussels cheers man!

I sold mine for 500 euro and I think that's a fair price. To compare: I paid my Corsa Extra 350 euro (two weeks ago).
