• Too sad. Puts my moaning about being in work into perspective. Someone didn't make it to work this morning and won't be going home this evening. RIP cyclist.

    Couldn't agree more.

    Well said. RIP.

  • Intensely aware of how often the logo has been turning black recently.

    another sad loss.

  • This is just awful.
Rest in peace, rider. Thinking of you and yours.

I use this stretch of road pretty much daily, and I always feel iffy about it.

  • A terrible loss.
RIP. All love to your friends and family.

  • horrible.

    rip rider.

  • This is really beginning to rattle me, such sadness. Rest in peace rider, my thoughts are for your family.

  • thoughts and prayers for the rider, his family and friends.

  • A sad start to the week. Rest in peace.

    Wishing everyone safe journeys.

  • One such incident would be one too many. The frequency with which this happens lately is chilling. Horrible. Love to all affected by this. x

  • Why are trucks still using these major commute routes? Why are trucks allowed in the city at all during peak hours? FFS!

    RIP

    x 1000

    RIP

  • Heart always sinks when logging on and seeing the black logo.

Thoughts with friends and family. Rest in peace, rider.

  • RIP

And that's a really nasty junction at rush hour.

  • R.I.P

All well wishes to family and friends. Tragic.

  • Awful. RIP rider.

  • RIP rider.

There have been far far far too many fatalities in the past few weeks, shocking.

  • Don't forget that OB were ticketing cyclists for avoiding this route only the other week.

Probably not the right place for this but it makes your blood boil with anger

  • RIP Cyclist.

I'm honestly not sure about it being a terrible junction though, busy, definitely - but if you follow the lights, while busy, its definitely not as sketchy as say, Kings Cross etc.

The debate on that junction is long - see - http://www.lfgss.com/thread8406-9.html

  • Gah, not another. It's such terrible news, I have no words that have not already been said but thoughts with all who new the rider. RIP.

  • fuck.. RIP - I use this route everyday and hate it every time, when those lights change it is wacky races especially if you are trying to stay in the right lane to go up oxford st direction

  • ^^^ never knew cyclists weren't allowed to use that stretch. Always figured that bus routes were fair game for cyclists.

RIP, rider. Thoughts with your friends and family. Sad day.

  • RIP. Thoughts with friends and family
