  • Sure looks like a surly fixxer has been used there, and yes mine sheared.

  • The Hed track converter and the surly one looks pretty similar if not the same. The guy i got them off said he'd got them new as a track set.

  • Ah right, it was the excess axle that made me think it was a surly, as mine was the same. Strange that Heds own kit would have such excessive axle length.

  • stem jealousy

  • Just in case anyone wondered - Społem Łódź is sports club in Poland, it has one of few track (outdoor, concrete)

some pics I took. Surface is quite rough, it's also virtually not possible to do a few rounds there if you're not in the club. We usually had to bribe a guard with some beers, throw bikes over fence and ride :D

  • It does look lovely to ride on!

  • Love it, ticks all the right boxes. Just needs the brake surface taped to top it off.

thx. i saw that surly stopped the production of their fixxer in april this year.

  • what headset that is ?

  • No idea, it came with the frame. It's pretty nice though, needle bearings and grub screws.

  • My guess is headset is SAIKO (polish company, run by Janusz Kowalski, former world champion). or some campagnolo copy. There were many workshops which used to make gear like derailleurs, seatposts, stems, headsets, cranks, hubs, headsets based on italian components.

  • double hed.3 are double win. want. again.

  • ...the stem is actually destine for a different build
    ...

What bike are you using a Salsa on?

    Those double Hed look serious.
