got a call from james who is at the track, he had a chat with one of the coaches and said that if it clears up it can still go on, the official start time is still 2 hrs away. Anyway as laner said, we are going to be there and prepared in any case.

Any word direct from our men on the ground at the tarck? Deadline for setting off and making it in time fast approaching. For what it's worth even on the fairer side of the Thames it is pretty rainy right now.

It's still raining near Brentford, and the wind is slowly blowing towards the East.

Hate to say it, but can't see this stopping in the next hour, and given the recent accident I can't see HH going ahead with the session unless it dramatically changes.

Doctor cake is heading out now in hopes of bagging some well done for showing up cheese.

Light drizzle at the track but it is quite warm so if it stops then it'll dry quick

Have been drenched twice today and it's still raining- feeling sickly and think sofa and cup of tea is my next activity, rather than putting on lycra and finding a pedal spanner. Will keep an eye out for changes but am not optimistic that the rain will change- gutted for the guys who have worked so hard to get this together for today (well done Laner and Amey, repped).
Also those who have donated prizes- the list is amazing (and can I point out that the cheese was donated personally by Nath, it didn't come from the company, and it cost him an arm and a leg. It is definitely a valuable prize and not for chewing on while sheltering under a tree on Burbage Rd)
