Not having been to one of these events before, I thought it prudent to ask ( several months after volunteering ) just exactly what it is I've volunteered to do :-/

Since I felt better in the last track session practice and Scoot is in to hurry me along, I'm hoping to make up the women's numbers if I can make it / don't chicken out.

If I can rustle the entry fee then I'm well up for this, though have never raced before so might well just be there for numbers...

Yeah, I'd obviously go for the induction and I'm fairly confident in group riding.

Is there any chance of doing the induction the hour before the tarck day? I'm sure this has been asked already but I'm late for work and can't be arsed raking through the thread...

Technically you can but it is advisable to do it like a week before i.e. 17th the only sat left before track day

i'll be there but no racing unfortunately, should be a good day

Absolutely fine, the hire bikes will be available on the day.
