Scobswell did good again yesterday....
He helped me get a PB for distance, 92.2 miles in one day.
He's awesome, I may have mentioned this before :)

Scobswell, "the gift that keeps on giving"! He's still going strong and continues to impress me.
Last night when The IngerLuhnds were playing I took advantage of the quieter roads and cycle paths, we did an all-out (for me) sprint from Dartford->Big Ben/Westminster Bridge->Dartford.
We nailed it in under 3 hours, thats fast for me (us), 1Hr 25mins up and 1Hr 23mins back via Q1 which was also a mile further. Stopped at the pub and raised a glass to LFGSS and Scobs. Even adding the last 1.2 mile wobble home from the pub we still clocked in under 3 hours.
He's still awethumne.

Scobswell is on Holiday, I've bought him down to Bath for some R+R.
We did that 2 Tunnels loop today, it was brilliant. Basking in the Sunshine near the Dundas Aqueduct.
Cheers Ed, still enjoying it.

Its been a while I know, I've been side-tracked by a really nice motorcycle restoration project which took 11 months to complete.
I pulled this out a barn in Wales...
...and after 11 months of graft and lurve it looks like....
Phwaooaaar! I even managed to get the original reg number back too after a lot of detective work and correspondence.
Anyway, Scobswell and me are still best buds even though I've neglected my cycling a fair bit so I thought it high time I went out on Scobswell for the day.
A nice slow steady 46 mile ride up to London's famous London and back.
On the back of the Dartford crossing wagon to get across the Thames...
I think most of the Thames had leaked into the underpass at Belvedere where the cycle track goes under a roundabout, it was almost bottom bracket deep in there but we got through without wet feet. Its surprisingly tricky on a FG bike isn't it...
We had fun today, just wanted to let you know we're still going :)

Thank you! Its nice to be back. I rode past Ed Scoble's place of employment today, thats where Scobswell was handed over a few years back, awwwww....

It's always good to read your ride reports. As far as I know, Ed doesn't work at Evans Ludgate Circus any more, if that's the one you mean.

Keep on riding.

Oh! I didn't know he'd moved on, ta Oliver. Lucky I didn't pop in on with a bunch of flowers and box of milk tray then I suppose.

"Keep on riding."
Okey dokey, will do Mr Goat.
Scobswell continues to amaze.
He did this yesterday, all 81.2 miles of it, thats a PB for distance for me. Don't worrry, Scobs didn't do it on his own, I had to show him where to go....
In touring mode, note the rack Ed (and a packed lunch in the cool bag), style bonus! :)
I've never ridden this far out West Lunnun before, this is Bulls Bridge I think.
3 amazing things in this picture in order of amayzingness.
