Pretty sure it does, I think it's more that I need a front brake too.
Will be there to watch anyway.

Front brake and helmet is the rulez, If you have any doubts google 'public liability for events'
No one can take this for granted, especially the organisers.. See you there Indra.. -

i know it's not rollapalooza's fault at all, they're not free to apply reason, but the brake requirement is a bit silly for an individual start hill climb! on swains lane, if you stop pedalling you will stop within about a bike length. the hill is your brake.

Riders start at the bottom of the hill.

It is with regret that we have cancelled / postponed the 2013 Urban Hill Climb due to reasons beyond our control. As event organisers we feel we have a responsibility not only to provide great events, but also to ensure the safety of all participants and the general public. With the road conditions as they are this evening we cannot guarantee a safe event. We apologise to all those who were coming and thank you for your support of the event, we will look into the possibility of a date later in the year after consultation with all event partners. Rollapaluza.
Blimey, what are those adverse conditions?

Steep gradient?
Not enough rain?

Blimey, what are those adverse conditions?
Strange eh?
Due to the road sweltering with heat??!
Pretty sure the Norths Death TT will happen come rain or shine on the 30th, ;-)
Dedicated to the cause. Admirable! Though I'd have thought being fixed would count as a brake. Too bad....
