totally agree, unless you have a 'high end' frame set like Colnago / Gios / de Rosa / in SL, SLX, 531C etc ( and there are numerous others...)
A frame like the one advertised with a low-mid range group set is worth around £200 maximum, less on a bad day, , but unless it's well prepared, super clean, polished metal parts, clean hoods and bar tape ...people here will think the piss is being extracted and pass...there are just wonderful pieces of bike art sold here from Maryann, Peter V, Costa and many others that serve to maintain the legitimacy of the Forum, which is a genuine boon to bike enthusiasts, not a dumping ground...that place is called 'the tip'.
