Personally if you have the space to do it I'd take it outside , powersand it all off and restain it

Try sticking cat litter over the stain to see if it'll absorb some of the mucoff then maybe email the company to see if there's a way to flush it out of the wood cos id imagine it'll mess with any oils you put on

As its only pine, you could sand it back and paint it a nice Pastel colour. Coat of varnish or some kind of sealer and it'll look great and clean easily.
