Defs angling for a BBQ. It's my last weekend in london for awhile (4mths) so would be cool to hang out with a bunch of peeps.
Oh, I didn't know this! Will try and hobble down. Make it Downs in that case!

What time roughly is this likely to start?
-
• #106
Dunnoo, but it's set to be 25 degrees on Sunday.
And what's the consensus on where to play?
Mitch - for ol' times' sake, good spectating and heckling
Downs - for the prospect of court side bbq'ing and lolling in the grass
Westway - for those with the competitive edge and who don't mind car fumes and ponies -

Fuck, I thought this was on Saturday. Not 100% for me then.
But yes given the weather, Downs is the best option. Be nice to sit on the grass afterwards with some cans and food.
Erin, have you played at Westway before? I think you have a wrong impression of the place.

Starts at noon, added to OP. Would prefer Mitch over Downs but not too fussed.

@Kev, yeh I have, and I think it's a great court (i'm mostly trolling in my own interests, as I'm angling for a sunny social bbq with a side of polo). It's a great court for training, competitive games (league?), and for throw ins in the evening, or wet weather - it's an ace option to have. But for hanging out and drinking cans and having disposable bbqs on the go - it's not really suitable. Bit of a thoroughfare, plus it's a sports centre.

agreed if the forecast stays as it is i'd vote for downs.

So do we have a consensus on which court? Problem with good weather is kids will be at Downs. Anyone planning to turn up early and get the court? Let's vote, voting closes tomorrow 12pm.

Yeah I should be OK for this.
If the weather stays fine, I vote for Downs.

Early bird breakfast / court hogging throw ins at 10am, main event at midday?

Announcement to all, after much contemplation about the BBQ and the state of the court, it will be at Downs not Mitch!

What about the vote / democracy, Beagle?
First Egypt, now LPC.

Downs is good with me. I should be in for 10am. Only if there's six on a list for it though.
