  • To stop the chain rubbing on the disk wheel I then used some builders tape to fasten the spokes to the cover to bring it in a bit, also this would help strengthen then disk

  • slack chain? :D is that a devil 101?

  • Aha a little bit won't hurt anyone ;-) yes it is why? :-)

  • "slack chain is a fast chain my friend" as it was wisely stated by someone on here (can't remember who though..)

as you are not whipping skids with it it's fine :) although i don't understand what's happened to the forum - back in the ol' days... there would've been someone 3 times faster than me to 'slack-chain' that pic..

only asking because i bought one myself and was wondering what experience you have with them

  • To be honest I was waiting for someone to pull me up on it and make a coment aha pretty thick skinned anyway. Will pull it taught anyway just for looks more than anything. Plus then I might be able to to whip skids when I get better :-)
As for the chain it was either this or a Izumi super toughness chain. No experience with them but iv heard they are over engineered and noisy. My 101 isn't too noisy tbh seems very strong and is easy to set up and install

  • Any of guys know of any good bottle cages that done need braze ons, seen afew but I don't know if I should get ones that go on the back of the saddle like TT style of clamp on ones?

  • TT-style. Gotta be done, on a TT BIKE!

  • Know of any good ones that won't break the bank :-)

  • Minoura something?
