Nice ride, but nowadays I'd be knackered by the time I get to Hyde Park. And have no brakes.
-
• #28
laner might be on an earlier train so there might be one more spot on the groupsave.
-
• #29

So there's a space on that groupsave -

Ok, good. I should be starting work at 11am on Friday. Am I already part of the 4 included in the groupsave?

Rolling to the stones should always be done via Bletchley and be riden with a
63(ish) year old with a broken hip. -

63(ish) year old with a broken hip.the original rolling to stones had nothing to do with bletchley, that was an object after thought
bletchley was started after the first rolling to the stones

Right. I'm in for tomorrow night then! Going for a little ride now, then the 40k scratch at HH later, then RttS tomorrow, then riding Dieppe - Paris on Sunday morning.

Amirite in thinking you chaps will be fixed?
Not that it matters particularly, I'm just eyeing the mudguard on my road bike (and recalling 2011 when I had 2 rear lights die due to rain water ingestion before I'd even left West London!)

i'm happy either way.
fixed is currently brakeless which doesn't seem conducive to riding overnight....
-
• #41

-
• #43

Also very happy either way, but given this small group probably gives us our best chance of making it to the stones in time in... 4 years(?) then I guess gears would make marginally more sense in case a last ditch TT is required...*
*Admittedly I am biased as I have a fugly new road frame to break in... ;)

i do have the days booked off but i want a rain free trip
i'll check the weather later in the week
sorry to be so wet but i don't like being wet riding at night cold, when i can't see, roads slippery etc call me a fanny but if i am coming i'll meet you all at speakers corner 75% chance i'll do it currently
