I'm in from Ipswich, but only if you amend the route to pass my house: currently you ride up the street parallel to mine, which isn't good enough.
Cake, beer and use of my disgusting toilet offered...

More seriously, you might consider this small detour: rather than cross the A12 at the roundabout (fast/heavy traffic), we would use a light controlled crossing (there's a large school nearby).

- Camping, pursuit of: I haven't even got a tent but I swear to god I will buy one if there is ANY possibility of us camping, we could have TOASTED NUCLEAR MARSHMALLOWS IN THE DARK. Really.
I can't make this as I'll be in France, but I have a tent you can borrow if you want Bothwell! It's super easy to erect (fnar) as proven by the fact that even I can get it up (fnar fnar).

^ Need to spread rep.
In more serious news, I can probably get disposable BBQs/ Suffolk sausages etc for the beach

^^ God, my coworker is giving me evils over his laptop because I'm chuckling loudly at my desk. Yes, I would definitely like to borrow your weekend protective gear if this goes ahead, ta.

Let's hope so cos Sizewell A isn't.
Or Sizewell B actually.
Don't worry though, even Fukushima didn't actually kill anyone:
http://www.theage.com.au/comment/japans-radiation-disaster-toll-none-dead-none-sick-20130604-2nomz.htmlEr, yes, sorry about 1). bothwell. Don't worry that won't happen when I'm leading a proper forum ride, I'll ride slower and wait and stuff.
Nobody's ever complained, though I did lose edscoble once, temporarily:
https://www.lfgss.com/post2376045-123.htmlCompletely by accident, of course.

I'd maybe be up for camping if I can dump tent, sleeping bag, food etc in the support car, cough cough, as unfortunately my italian stallion bike aint got no time for frame mounts, mudguards, racks or other woollen socked sandle wearing malarky :). It laughs in the face of practicality, but practicality laughs right back at it.
So realistically I'll be training it back. Support car issues aside camping depends on weather too, I wild camped in Wales a few weeks ago, was nice during the day but was down to 3 degrees at night and I almost froze to death. But this ride is July so surely it'll be warm and summery by then........
Oh and is this another sandless English beach? God dammit, if so lets all take a kilo of sand each and make our own proper beach, I mean cycling 115 miles to just get shingles, sheesh.

Don't know what I'll ride but most likely fixed.

I really want to do this, but am in Market Rasen on Saturday (fun times). I don't think 150 solo miles is feasible, at least not if I want to get there when you're still there, even if it is flat all the way, but I might see if I can train it a bit of the way and meet you there.

All good, neither does a chain reaction.

Hi Fox,
Correct me if I am mistaken, but I think I bumped into you on the last part of your last nuclear ride (likely coming back from Liverpool Street) on Sunday just past, we rode a short way up into Hackney and you forked off towards Clapton. You mentioned you organised this ride on the forum, so I came and checked it out.
I mostly ride an old 90s geared Dawes out on rides with a few friends, a lot out in Essex. Sometimes I ride a single speed Raleigh (WE WILL NEVER BREAK THE CHAIN on Vimeo
). Is it bad form to come on one of these rides on a geared bike, because I don't think I could manage this sort of distance on a single, let alone fixed.I would be up for this ride though, just need my radio active.

TOASTED NUCLEAR MARSHMALLOWS, that's all you need to know.
